ValueSet: Weight Status

Official URL: https://fhir.dk.swisstph-mis.ch/matchbox/fhir/ValueSet/weight-status Version: 0.1.0
Draft as of 2023-10-04 Computable Name: valueset-weight-status

Weight status is auto-calculated based on the young infant’s weight for age Z-score, which is determined from a standardized chart for weight -for-age for the infant’s sex. A young infant is low weight for age if the z-score is below -2. A young infant who is less than 7 days old and weighs less than 2 kg is considered very low weight. Some young infants who are low weight for age were born with low birth weight. Some did not gain weight well after birth.

Explanation of the columns that may appear on this page:

Level A few code lists that FHIR defines are hierarchical - each code is assigned a level. In this scheme, some codes are under other codes, and imply that the code they are under also applies
System The source of the definition of the code (when the value set draws in codes defined elsewhere)
Code The code (used as the code in the resource instance)
Display The display (used in the display element of a Coding). If there is no display, implementers should not simply display the code, but map the concept into their application
Definition An explanation of the meaning of the concept
Comments Additional notes about how to use the code
